Vampire AU Prequel

Logan didn't do bars, not often any way. Too many people, too much going on... too many girls sniffing for money rather than love. Usually he hated it, but tonight...

Tonight he just needed to get out, to have a few drinks and enjoy the city of LA for what it was. Mindless, soulless, and empty. Really, the more he dwelled on it the more Logan was sure those were exactly the sort of qualities he'd been looking for in home, and he grinned as he polished off his drink and left enough cash on the bar for tip and his tab.

Ignoring the many writhing and twisting bodies on the dance floor, Logan made his way to the exit, ready to head home for the night. Passing the pool table, he pushed open the door and stepped into the night. The streets were busy, but he didn't mind, he'd cut through the alleyway and take a shortcut home.

The lamp light flickered as he stepped into the darkened ally, blinking out just as he headed into the shadows. It was alright though, he wasn't scared, he wasn't some sweet sixteen princess with her virtue to worry about... Logan was tough. He was eighteen now, and he had no fear.

After a moment, Joe turned, reaching for the soap that Logan held. "Not that I was all love and puppy dogs before," he added with a faint smirk.

"Didn't think that you were," Logan said sweetly, flashing a smirk.

Joe grabbed the soap from him and began to lather it up, his hands sliding over Logan's shoulders. "The way I was born," he replied.

Tilting his head back, Logan sighed contently at the feeling of Joe's hands on his shoulders. "Born a prick, died a prick, huh? Guess it's good you didn't let it change you..."

"It's easier to get away with being a prick like this," Joe pointed out, shifting until Logan was in front of him, pushing him around until he had Logan's back to him. "Got an excuse now."

Logan let Joe turn him around, laughing a bit. "Yeah? Does that mean I get to be a prick now?"

"I got a feeling you were born a prick, too," Joe said with a snort of laughter, washing Logan's shoulders carefully, his fingers kneading the muscles.

"Fuck you man," Logan laughed softly. "I was an angel until I was twelve."

"And then it was just all downhill from there?" Joe asked, his hands sliding down Logan's back, over the lines of muscle.

"Pretty much," Logan grinned, leaning back into the touch.

"Story of my fucking life," Joe replied with a laugh, his hands still stroking over Logan's back. His fingers kneaded the muscles, pressing harder.

Logan moaned quietly, enjoying the way Joe was rubbing his back. "You're good at that," he decided. "I like your hands. Like it when they rub me, stroke me, grab me... hell, even when you were trying to choke me. You have amazing hands," he decided.

"That's what happens when you play guitar," Joe said with a smirk, leaning in to nip at Logan's shoulder as he continued to rub against the muscles in Logan's back.

Logan sighed at the feeling of Joe's teeth against his skin, reaching back with one hand to hold onto the other man's hip.

Joe's hands slid down lower, palming Logan's ass as he continued to rub soap against his skin.

Logan made a small sound of appreciation at that, leaning back again and then smiling. "So where are you taking me tonight, huh?" he asked.

"There's a place where people go near the club I found you," Joe explained. That had been where he was coming from on that night. "I know most of the people there."

"Sounds fun," Logan grinned. "Should I dress up?" he joked lightly.

"Suit and tie," Joe insisted with a laugh, pulling Logan back against him, wanting that weight of his body there.

"I do look good in a suit," Logan replied, leaning back against Joe and then slowly turning in the other man's arms.

"Then you should wear one," Joe replied, his hands still sliding over Logan's wet, soapy skin as h turned around to face him.

Draping his arms around Joe's neck, Logan kissed the other man soundly on the lips. "Come on, let's go get dressed."

Joe returned the kiss, but then nodded and turned off the water, then pushed open the shower door. He'd be stuck wearing the same clothes, but it didn't matter. He didn't have a huge range in his wardrobe anyway.

Dripping, Logan padded across the bathroom floor, grabbing a towel and patting himself down. Once he was dry though, he headed for his overfull closet, yanking open the doors and taking a step back.

"Gosh, I just have nothing to wear," Logan sighed in a put on voice.

Joe grabbed a towel as well, wrapping it around his waist as he followed Logan over to the closet. "Yeah, it looks like you got a real lack of clothes there, man," he replied dryly.
