Logan Echolls

Logan had spent most of the evening just wandering. Some might have called it exploring even, though he hadn't actually found anything of interest (unless you were a fan of large and ugly bugs). So, in the end he'd found his way back to the waterfall, which was an even better place then the roof to brood (in Logan's opinion at least), if only because no one thought he was trying to kill himself when he hung out there.

He'd been about to leave and head home for the night, when he spotted someone heading his way. Lilly. Well, wasn't it always?

Suddenly going home seemed like something that could wait.

Lilly had just been wandering with no real destination in mind and had found herself idly heading toward the waterfall. She hadn't been there since that first time when she'd found Logan there and somehow that made her less surprised when she saw Logan yet again. What, did he live there or something?

"Hey," she said as she got closer, her voice not sounding exatly excited to see him and her arms wrapped around herself protectively. Her last few encounters with Logan hadn't really gone well, to say the least. She doubted he was any happier to see her than she was to see him.

"Hey," Logan replied, easily pasting on a look of indifference as he gave her a polite nod and sat himself down on one of the rocks.

He didn't really know why he was hanging around, why he thought talking to Lilly was in any way a good idea... but he just couldn't seem to bring himself to leave.

Well, he wasn't walking off anyway. Maybe that meant something, though Lilly couldn't really say what.

"Where's your boy toy?" she asked as she got closer, stopping when she was only a few feet away, arms still crossed.

Logan shrugged a little, picking at a loose thread on his jeans. "Home I guess, I dunno... I don't, like, keep tabs on him twenty-four seven," he told her, silently noting that was a lot of growth for him really.
