Logan started to run the shower, stripping down and piling his clothes up in the corner. He waited until the water was just right, then stepped under the spray, expecting Jack to come and find him when he was ready.

It felt good, and he leaned casually against the tile as water spilled over him.

"Mmm, even bald you'd be hot," Logan assured him, gasping and then batting Jack's hand away.

"Thought we were getting clean," he said, turning to look Jack over.

"Mmm hmm," Jack replied, but he was focused now and washing up wasn't his goal. He reached up and caught Logan's hair roughly.

"Or not," he added, kissing Logan hungrily. His free hand roamed his husband's body, touching him everywhere just because he could. Because Logan was his.

Logan struggled out of habit, then relaxed into the kiss, holding Jack's shoulders tightly as he pressed up against him.

"If we had hot water at home, we could have a bath," he murmured between kisses.

And though that had an erotic sound to it, what Logan was actually thinking was how much easier it would be to bathe the baby at home.

Lately nearly everything he thought about linked back to the baby one way or another.

"I can do that," Jack promised. He kissed and touched Logan, building up the tension until he just about snapped. He had no patience when he had Logan naked and close. But Logan made him wait all the time and Jack abruptly pulled away.

"I need to wash may hair," he said, trying to sound casual, but his voice was too tight and his cock was too hard for him to pretend he wasn't interested.

Logan made an annoyed sound, but didn't protest any more than that. Instead he just let it go, turning away to finish washing himself up.

"Whatever," he muttered, rinsing away the soap and then smacking Jack hard on the ass.

"You've got sand in your crack," he said simply, grabbing his towel and slipping out the shower.

Jack snorted softly and rubbed his cheek where Logan's hand print stung, then he focused on washing up. When he'd scrubbed his whole body and washed his hair he was surprised by how much better he felt. He groaned as he rinsed one more time and then followed after Logan.

He wrapped a towel around his waist, moved up behind Logan, and started kissing his neck and shoulders.

"You make it so hard to stop," he said softly. "But I want to take my time...and prove I do have a little patience."

Logan snorted at that, but relaxed as he leaned lightly against Jack.

"Whatever you say, man. Let's just head home," the younger man suggested, though he made no move to pull away just yet.

Jack purred softly and enjoyed the feel of Logan's body for just another moment before he pulled away to get dressed. The clothes didn't fit at all and made him look totally unlike himself. He scowled at them, his vanity making it hard to accept looking like this.

"Let's swing through the kitchen. I want something not seafood. Then we can go home."

"Mmmm, fine, I'm not that hungry though," Logan replied, patting himself dry and pulling on his clothes.

The only thing he wanted was Jack.

"We'll get it to go," he promised. The way the clothes fit made him look like he was slouching along, rather than the regular upright posture and squared shoulders. He looked like...kind of like Logan used to- and still did at times.

He went into the kitchen and didn't actually stop. He picked up some muffins, a bit of cheese and the end of a loaf of bread as he passed through. Just what he could carry.

"Open the door for me? My hands are full," he said, shooting Logan a hungry look.

Logan grinned, holding open the door and laughing a little as Jack walked past.

"You look really weird in that shit, man. Is that really the best the box had to offer this morning?" he asked.

"It was this or black leather shorts and a leather harness and that is so last season," Jack replied. "What, you don't like me in this? It doesn't make me look ten years younger?"

"It makes you look like you're having a mid-life crises," Logan replied with a smirk, deliberately being a little cheeky.

"Maybe I am," Jack shot back, then stuck his tongue out childishly at Logan as he tried to saunter. In order to keep his pants on he kind of had to slouch and it ruined the illusion.

Logan simply laughed, tagging along at Jack's side as they made their way home.

"You look hilarious," he continued. "I wish I had a camera. I could blackmail you next time you're strutting around in uniform."

"You're just making me want to get undressed as fast as I can once we're home," he replied. It was hard to tell if Logan's teasing was actually getting to him or if it was an innuendo.

"What can I say? I like you naked," Logan grinned, wandering along and taking some of the food from Jack to lighten his load.

Jack juggled the last of what he had into one hand and wrapped his free arm around Logan.

"How did you ever get used to wearing loose pants like this?" he asked. He'd worn a lot of different clothes but this just felt strange. He had more than one reason to want to get to the Hamlet quickly and get out of them.

"I had to," Logan shrugged. "Tight clothes were painful. They clung in all the wrong places when I was sore."

And as quick as that, all the things Jack pushed to the back of his mind about Logan came rushing back. All it took was one little off-hand comment and Jack's stomach knotted up.

He was glad when the path opened to the Hamlet and their hut was in view.

"Maybe I should start wearing them every time you take that paddle to me," he said, forcing himself to sound casual.

"That's not funny," Logan replied simply, making his way to the hut and heading inside.

Jack followed after, laid the food on the table, and immediately began to strip. He did it slowly- too slowly to simply be getting undressed. He was doing it to torment Logan.

Except Logan wasn't watching, not after Jack's joke, and he sat down at the table as he started to pick at some of the food.

"We should cut some wood today," he said finally, scowling a little as he picked at a muffin.

Some might have said the younger man was sulking ...And they'd have probably been right.

Jack groaned in disgust.

"Really? I don't get a little break from work? I worked hard to get those pearls and now you want to cut wood?"

He walked up behind Logan and laid his hands on his husband's shoulders. His skin was warm and he smelled significantly better than he had before.

"I don't want to work. I want you."

"Then maybe you shouldn't be a dick, Jack," Logan replied simply, brushing Jack's hands away and turning in his seat to look at the other man.
