It had been a few days since he and jack had woken up ill, and Logan was feeling better.
Silently, he slipped out of bed, leaving Jack to get some more rest as he headed into the kitchen to brew some coffee and make some breakfast. It didn't take long, and soon he was standing at the bottom of the stairs calling for Jack to come downstairs.
He had a lot he wanted to get done. He wanted to do the tree and start talking about gifts. The holidays were getting closer, and this year they where going to be perfect... He was sure of that.

Definitely better than a couple years ago when all he'd done was try to keep House from hurting himself as he detoxed. The memory of some of the things he'd done just to maintain some sort of normalcy made him ill. He smiled a little more softly at Logan, grateful that something like that was never going to happen with the younger man.

"I can finish the lights, why don't you start putting decoration's on?" he suggested.

"I don't think I'd count on the year going smoothly," he chuckled softly. "But maybe it'll be easier than it has been. Every year seems to be a little nicer. No hurricanes, the dinosaurs haven't gotten out, no real trouble other than a few weird days here and there," Jack replied, passing off the last of the lights and turning his attention to the boxes to see what sorts of decorations they had.

Date: 2009-12-04 10:36 pm (UTC)"Just promise me that if things get crazy again, you wont leave me to go play hero all the time. We're partners now, and I want to know you'll take me with you. I want to know that you'll always let me have your back."
Because if anything ever happened to Jack; Logan wasn't Sure what he'd do.

Date: 2009-12-05 12:17 am (UTC)He laughed a little and hung an ornament on the tree, then studied it as if he wasn't sure he'd done it right. It looked right, he decided, so he hung a few more, spreading them out so they weren't all clumped together.

Date: 2009-12-05 12:48 am (UTC)"Thanks," he replied quietly, thoughts of decorating hard to concentrate on with the other man holding him like that.
"You want to do some?" he asked, though he kind of didn't care if Logan didn't want to finish it until later.

Date: 2009-12-05 01:03 am (UTC)He'd always thought he'd have moments like these. Though not with Jack, or any man for that matter... Yet now they felt right. As if things had always been meant to turn out this way.

Date: 2009-12-05 01:16 am (UTC)"If we finish it up, we could go take a shower," he suggested. "Get some clean clothes. Eat something that isn't soup..."
It didn't sound like lunch was what he really had in mind, though.

Date: 2009-12-05 02:04 am (UTC)"How fast do you think we can finish the tree?"

Date: 2009-12-05 02:20 am (UTC)"I think we can finish it fast," he said. "But not if you keep doing that to me.You make me want to drag you back to bed...the hell with the tree."
no subject
Date: 2009-12-05 02:28 am (UTC)"We can't brush off the tree- but we can move fast. And then you can drag me where ever you want."

Date: 2009-12-05 02:48 am (UTC)He moved closer and caught Logan's hand.
"It's...gorgeous," he said, eyes glued to the tree. It was theirs. It was the first and he had a feeling it wouldn't be the last.
"I think we did a good job. What do you think?"

Date: 2009-12-05 02:57 am (UTC)He squeezed Jack's hand and smiled. "It feels very- Jolly."

Date: 2009-12-05 03:19 am (UTC)"Good word. Jolly. We don't have to stand here staring at it, though. Right?" he murmured, moving them as a single slow unit toward the stairs.

Date: 2009-12-05 03:24 am (UTC)"No, we can go wherever you want," he whispered between kisses, each kiss rougher than the last as they slowly made there way up the stairs and down the hall.

Date: 2009-12-05 03:29 am (UTC)"Missed you like this," he murmured, rough hands groping Logan's bare body and toying with the waist of his pants.

Date: 2009-12-05 03:35 am (UTC)"How long has it been? It feels like forever..."
no subject
Date: 2009-12-05 03:53 am (UTC)"Way too long, if you ask me. I'm not going to complain about sleeping with you so much...but I miss this," he continued, sliding his hand lower to cup Logan's cock in his palm and rub firmly. "Want you. Always."

Date: 2009-12-05 03:21 pm (UTC)He used his grip to tilt the other man's head back, and kissed him firmly, practically demanding that Jack kiss him back.
"Need you," he confessed.

Date: 2009-12-05 05:23 pm (UTC)"Too many clothes," he grumbled, unwilling to stop touching Logan so he could get them undressed.
no subject
Date: 2009-12-05 05:49 pm (UTC)"Get your clothes off," he said firmly, his tone leaving no room for arguments or protests. "I feel like I haven't seen your body in weeks."

Date: 2009-12-06 01:43 am (UTC)"Still can't see me," he taunted, just his head, an arm, and a bare shoulder showing. He was enjoying watching Logan, though. His eyes raked over the man's bare skin and he wet his lips with a slow roll of his tongue.

Date: 2009-12-06 02:18 am (UTC)Stretching, he arched his back with a soft moan, bending back just a little and rolling his shoulders as he dropped his arms. His hands slid down his chest, and he made a content sound before stepping closer to the bed and tugging lightly on the blanket.
no subject
Date: 2009-12-06 02:25 am (UTC)"I could watch you all day," he confessed, but with the way he rolled closer and smoothed his hands over Logan's chest and stomach, it was unlikely that just watching was what he had in mind.
