Vampire AU Prequel

Logan didn't do bars, not often any way. Too many people, too much going on... too many girls sniffing for money rather than love. Usually he hated it, but tonight...

Tonight he just needed to get out, to have a few drinks and enjoy the city of LA for what it was. Mindless, soulless, and empty. Really, the more he dwelled on it the more Logan was sure those were exactly the sort of qualities he'd been looking for in home, and he grinned as he polished off his drink and left enough cash on the bar for tip and his tab.

Ignoring the many writhing and twisting bodies on the dance floor, Logan made his way to the exit, ready to head home for the night. Passing the pool table, he pushed open the door and stepped into the night. The streets were busy, but he didn't mind, he'd cut through the alleyway and take a shortcut home.

The lamp light flickered as he stepped into the darkened ally, blinking out just as he headed into the shadows. It was alright though, he wasn't scared, he wasn't some sweet sixteen princess with her virtue to worry about... Logan was tough. He was eighteen now, and he had no fear.

"There's a place where people go near the club I found you," Joe explained. That had been where he was coming from on that night. "I know most of the people there."

"Sounds fun," Logan grinned. "Should I dress up?" he joked lightly.

"Suit and tie," Joe insisted with a laugh, pulling Logan back against him, wanting that weight of his body there.

"I do look good in a suit," Logan replied, leaning back against Joe and then slowly turning in the other man's arms.

"Then you should wear one," Joe replied, his hands still sliding over Logan's wet, soapy skin as h turned around to face him.

Draping his arms around Joe's neck, Logan kissed the other man soundly on the lips. "Come on, let's go get dressed."

Joe returned the kiss, but then nodded and turned off the water, then pushed open the shower door. He'd be stuck wearing the same clothes, but it didn't matter. He didn't have a huge range in his wardrobe anyway.

Dripping, Logan padded across the bathroom floor, grabbing a towel and patting himself down. Once he was dry though, he headed for his overfull closet, yanking open the doors and taking a step back.

"Gosh, I just have nothing to wear," Logan sighed in a put on voice.

Joe grabbed a towel as well, wrapping it around his waist as he followed Logan over to the closet. "Yeah, it looks like you got a real lack of clothes there, man," he replied dryly.

"Pick something," Logan grinned, fingers trailing over a silky red shirt and a few suit jackets. "What do I look good in?"

"Not this, unless you want everyone there to think you're a fucking fag and try to kick you out," Joe said, passing by the red shirt before he came to a black shirt striped with white. "This one."

"Seeing how we've been fucking like rabbits, I don't think it's a shirt that'll make me seem like a fag. You like this one though?" Logan asked, slipping it off it's hanger and pulling it on.

"The fucking is different," Joe insisted with a grin, watching as Logan pulled on the shirt. "But, yeah, I like it. Wear that one."

Rolling his eyes and laughing, Logan buttoned up the shirt and grabbed a pair of pants next, skipping boxers this time. It probably wouldn't be worth the effort of pulling them on if they kept going like they had been.

Joe nodded his approval, then returned to his own clothes, grabbing them off the floor, then began to dry himself off. "That works for you. Looks good."

"I always look good," Logan smirked.

"Yeah, we covered that already, remember?" Joe asked with a smirk, pulling his own jeans up and on. "We both look good."

"Look better together. Naked. On the bed..." Logan grinned.

"Can't be together, naked and on the bed if we're going out," Joe pointed out with a grin, tugging his shirt over his head and doing up his jeans.

"Damn, guess we'll have to settle for this then," Logan grinned.

"You're the one who wanted to go out," Joe reminded Logan with a grin, sitting down on the bed to put his shoes back on.

"What can I say, I'm curious. Besides, the bed will be here later..." Logan grinned.

"The bed will always be here," Joe agreed, lacing his boots and then leaning back on his hands as he glanced over at the window. "Almost dark."

"Yeah," Logan said, slipping his own shoes on and fussing with the collar of his shirt, rumpling it a little. "Almost."

"Gotta look like you didn't try too hard?" Joe asked with a smirk as he watched Logan mess with his collar. The wrinklier his clothes were, the more he'd match Joe at this point.
