Camping (locked to Joe, backdated to Sept 29th)

Seeing as how he and Neil had been fighting about damn near everything all week, Logan had been more than a little eager to go camping with Joe by the time Saturday morning rolled around. So eager, in fact, that he'd already been to the compound to find a sleeping bag in the clothes box (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed no less), and had packed his make-shift bag before Joe had even come to find him.

For once Logan was ahead of the game, knocking on Joe's door to see if he was ready.

God, he'd never thought he'd be so eager to stare at trees for nearly forty-something hours.

"Hey, you ready?" he asked, knocking once and then pushing the door open a crack. "I grabbed some food for us to take or whatever... so, uh, I'm ready to go when you are man."

"I'm fucking hungry," Joe decided after a moment, because that sandwich hadn't really cut it. And maybe it was the mountain air, because it had been a long time since he'd been truly and genuinely hungry.

"Don't look at me, I'm sure I don't taste that great," Logan snorted softly. "But, uh, there's fruit and stuff in my bag."

"Yeah, I got some, too." But he was really fucking lazy and he grunted, trying to hook his bag with his foot.

"Lazy bastard," Logan snorted sitting up and grabbing the bag. He tossed it lightly at Joe and lay back down, yawning a little and stretching.

"Yeah, you got that right," Joe agreed with a smirk, letting out a soft noise when the bag hit his stomach. But he opened it anyway and grabbed some fruit, offering some kind of berry thing to Logan.

Logan shook his head a little and rolled onto his side again. He wasn't really hungry.

"You want the bread back?" Joe asked with a little grin, noticing the way Logan was lying now. "I got more."

"Huh?" Logan asked, looking confused.

"You were cuddling the fucking bread earlier when you were lying like that," Joe reminded him. "I was just wondering if you wanted it back."

"Fuck off," Logan laughed. "I was just holding it."

"Cuddling," Joe insisted. "I know what a fucking cuddle looks like, man, and you and that bread were pretty intimate."

"Damn intimate," Logan agreed. "That's why your sandwich tasted so good."

"My sandwich tasted good because of all the intimacy in it?" Joe asked, his mouth twitching. "That's some weird fucking logic."

"Love tastes good," Logan yawned.

"You're a fucking goof," Joe said with a snort of laughter, grabbing some of the fruit out of his bag.

"You love it," Logan said, stretching a little where he lay.

"Yeah, I love it when you're intimate with the bread," Joe agreed. "It makes my fucking day, you got no idea."

"Turns me on," Joe replied with a snort of laughter. "I'm into bread."

"I don't doubt it, Joe. I don't doubt it," Logan smirked.

"Getting dark," Joe commented a moment later, although it already was dark and it was just getting darker.

"You scared?" Logan grinned. "Need me to hold your hand? Maybe we should cuddle."

"Why would you need me when you've got the fucking bread?" Joe asked with a grin, looking over at Logan in amusement.

"I was asking if you needed those things," Logan pointed out. "I'm peachy, man."

"I think I'll be okay until the sun comes up," Joe said dryly, although he was still grinning. "Think I'll survive."
