Camping (locked to Joe, backdated to Sept 29th)

Seeing as how he and Neil had been fighting about damn near everything all week, Logan had been more than a little eager to go camping with Joe by the time Saturday morning rolled around. So eager, in fact, that he'd already been to the compound to find a sleeping bag in the clothes box (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed no less), and had packed his make-shift bag before Joe had even come to find him.

For once Logan was ahead of the game, knocking on Joe's door to see if he was ready.

God, he'd never thought he'd be so eager to stare at trees for nearly forty-something hours.

"Hey, you ready?" he asked, knocking once and then pushing the door open a crack. "I grabbed some food for us to take or whatever... so, uh, I'm ready to go when you are man."

"That's fucking gross," Joe decided, swatting at Logan's head lightly. "Fucking gross, man. You can peel 'em and put 'em on sticks."

"Well, you said we should do something, or something," Logan replied, his eyes a little less glazed over as he squinted and then sighed. "You think of something then, or... I'll just smoke until I forget my own name."

"How much pot do you have left?" Joe asked curiously. And he wasn't going to smoke any, he really wasn't. He just wanted to know.

"A few joints," Logan shrugged. A few, in this case, being four.

"Gonna smoke 'em all yourself, right?" Joe asked, just to make sure. He didn't think Logan would offer, but he wantd to make sure.

"Yeah... no, Joe, I'm not..."

Logan was still a little to out of it to say what he wanted to say. Like how he was glad Joe was clean now, and how he wasn't trying to tempt him into doing the wrong thing. He gestured a little, looking a little ashamed as he shrank back and glanced away.

"Logan, fuck, I wasn't asking to make you feel bad," Joe said, reaching out and shoving his shoulder lightly. "I'm just... I need to make sure for me, man. I need to say it and get it out, otherwise I'm gonna fuck up."

"I wouldn't let you fuck up," Logan sighed, letting himself fall a bit when Joe pushed.

"Yeah, I know, I'm just letting you know, man," Joe said, looking over at him. "Just... trying to still deal with this shit."

"I know. Look, I won't smoke if it bothers you," Logan offered.

"Doesn't bother me, man, don't worry about it," Joe insisted, waving it off. "You can smoke if you want to, I'm sure as hell not the person to tell you not to."

"I just... don't want to think anymore," Logan said honestly.

"So get stoned until you don't have to," Joe encouraged. It was just pot anyway, it wasn't like he was doing fucking heroin.

"Yeah?" Logan asked, as if having Joe's permission helped.

"Yeah, go for it," Joe said with a quiet laugh, looking over at Logan. "You're not gonna fucking die if you do it."

"I know. i know that, okay?" Logan snorted. "I just feel bad smoking around you."

"Don't," Joe said simply. He didn't want Logan to feel bad. It was just pot, it wasn't hurting anyone and he could resist it. "If it was coke, then I'd tell you to start feeling bad."

"Yeah, okay," Logan said, resting against Joe again.

"Then I'd take it away from you," Joe added after a moment, leaning against Logan in return, his eyes closed briefly.

"Wouldn't do that shit," Logan murmured.

"Good," Joe said firmly. And if he found out that someone had ever given any coke to Logan, he'd track them down and kick the shit out of them.

"Good," Logan agreed, pulling away and moving to dig through his bag aain.

"The fuck are you looking for now?" Joe asked curiously, looking over at Logan. He couldn't possibly need to smoke again so soon.

"Banana," Logan said simply, pulling one out and holding it up in show. "Want?"

Joe snorted and then gave a nod, holding his hand out for one. "Why the fuck not? I'm not roasting it, though."
