Camping (locked to Joe, backdated to Sept 29th)

Seeing as how he and Neil had been fighting about damn near everything all week, Logan had been more than a little eager to go camping with Joe by the time Saturday morning rolled around. So eager, in fact, that he'd already been to the compound to find a sleeping bag in the clothes box (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed no less), and had packed his make-shift bag before Joe had even come to find him.

For once Logan was ahead of the game, knocking on Joe's door to see if he was ready.

God, he'd never thought he'd be so eager to stare at trees for nearly forty-something hours.

"Hey, you ready?" he asked, knocking once and then pushing the door open a crack. "I grabbed some food for us to take or whatever... so, uh, I'm ready to go when you are man."

"Don't," Joe said simply. He didn't want Logan to feel bad. It was just pot, it wasn't hurting anyone and he could resist it. "If it was coke, then I'd tell you to start feeling bad."

"Yeah, okay," Logan said, resting against Joe again.

"Then I'd take it away from you," Joe added after a moment, leaning against Logan in return, his eyes closed briefly.

"Wouldn't do that shit," Logan murmured.

"Good," Joe said firmly. And if he found out that someone had ever given any coke to Logan, he'd track them down and kick the shit out of them.

"Good," Logan agreed, pulling away and moving to dig through his bag aain.

"The fuck are you looking for now?" Joe asked curiously, looking over at Logan. He couldn't possibly need to smoke again so soon.

"Banana," Logan said simply, pulling one out and holding it up in show. "Want?"

Joe snorted and then gave a nod, holding his hand out for one. "Why the fuck not? I'm not roasting it, though."

"That's alright. I'm not roasting mine," Logan said as he grabbed one for himself.

"But you seemed so bent on it earlier," Joe pointed out with a smirk, taking the banana and peeling it. "Sure you don't want a stick for it?"

"I'll... Stick your banana," Logan mumbled, fighting with the peel on his own banana.

"That sounds pretty fucking dirty, man, you better watch it," Joe said, still smirking faintly, tying not to look like he was.

"Only dirty if you want to think of it as dirty," Logan argued, holding up his banana in show and then delibretly taking much to much into his mouth before taking a bite.

"M'like 'dat," he said around his mouthful. "'Sonly dir'dy if you 'fink it is."

"Or maybe it's only dirty if you know you," Joe shot back with a snort of laughter, taking a bite of his own banana.

"Maybe," Logan agreed, grinning a little.

"Maybe there's no fucking maybe about it," Joe said, smirking as he took another bite.

"Maybe," Logan said again, grinning.

"Eat your fucking banana," Joe ordered with a snort of laughter, finishing his own and tossing his peel into a bag he'd brought.

"I am," Logan mumbled, finishing the fruit and tossing the peel onto the fire.

"Fucking goof," Joe muttered affectionately, although it reminded him briefly of Jeroen and he almost frowned.

"Fuck you," Logan said, though his tone was equally affectionate.

Moving his bag even closer to Joe's, carefully lining them up so they were side by side, Logan lay back down. "Come'ere, let me show you something."

Joe moved back onto his bag and leaned back on his elbows, glancing over at Logan. "What?" he asked curiously.

Moving over, Logan pushed Joe down and promptly curled up against the older man's side, resting his head on his chest. Not unlike he had last time the island had brought him back to his youth.

"Just like how it was."

"Like when you were a kid?" Joe asked, although he thought that was probably what Logan meant. He got comfortable, though, his arm around Logan.
