Logan relaxed a bit and waved goodbye as Patrick left, his anger fading as fast as it had appeared.

"See, I can make friends," he announced as he headed back into the kitchen. "I'm a well-adjusted member of society. I deserve a reward. I never make friends, this is a big step for me," he grinned.

Grabbing an apple he leaned against the table, looking more than a little full of himself.

"What about the night club?" Logan asked, frowning a little. "You can really get away from that for a while?"

The idea of walking away from it all, if only for a few days, was enough to brighten his mood again slightly.

"I'll tell Helen. She'll understand," Jack assured him. "If she ever wanted some time, I'd do the same for her."

Logan nodded a little and then wet his lips.

"You know I don't like him like that, right? Patrick, I mean. You know there's no one else on this island I want but you."

That gave him a moment's pause but Jack finally nodded.

"I know," he said. "And for the record? I don't like him like that either."

"Good, 'cause I'm not gonna sit and watch you make love to yourself," Logan replied. "...At least not like that."

"I think you can rest easy that that's not gonna happen," Jack laughed. "Now, can we drop him? I'm gonna go talk to Helen and when I come back? I want dessert." With that, he reached out and grabbed Logan's ass.

"I hope you're making it then," he smirked, smacking Jack's hand away and wiggling his brows. "Whatever, just be quick. I expect you home and naked A.S.A.P."

"Home and naked? You can't tell me what to do," Jack teased, then he walked out to go take care of the arrangements so he could have some time alone with Logan.
