It had been over an hour since they'd made it back to Jack's hut. Nearly half an hour since Joe had left, making it clear he'd be back later. Ages, since Jack and Joe had found him out in the snow. ...And yet Logan was still cold, his body still shaking as he wrapped the blanket a little tighter around himself and gasped softly, as if it was still a struggle to breathe. He ached from head to toe, and he'd been so light-headed for so long that it was still hard to focus on anything.

The world was in soft focus, and Logan tried hard to get a clear look at Jack.

"I can probably walk home now," he said softly, his teeth clicking as another shiver ran through him.
