Vampire AU Prequel

Logan didn't do bars, not often any way. Too many people, too much going on... too many girls sniffing for money rather than love. Usually he hated it, but tonight...

Tonight he just needed to get out, to have a few drinks and enjoy the city of LA for what it was. Mindless, soulless, and empty. Really, the more he dwelled on it the more Logan was sure those were exactly the sort of qualities he'd been looking for in home, and he grinned as he polished off his drink and left enough cash on the bar for tip and his tab.

Ignoring the many writhing and twisting bodies on the dance floor, Logan made his way to the exit, ready to head home for the night. Passing the pool table, he pushed open the door and stepped into the night. The streets were busy, but he didn't mind, he'd cut through the alleyway and take a shortcut home.

The lamp light flickered as he stepped into the darkened ally, blinking out just as he headed into the shadows. It was alright though, he wasn't scared, he wasn't some sweet sixteen princess with her virtue to worry about... Logan was tough. He was eighteen now, and he had no fear.

Until it was done, Joe ignored Logan and the other boy, drinking until the body under him was limp and boneless, the whimpers from him beginning to subside as his blood was drained entirely.

Pulling back just enough to lick at the wound, Joe made a low noise, almost a growl, then dropped the body as well, leaving him slumped against his friend.

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-18 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Wound up and turned on, Logan moved closer to Joe, brushing up against him a little with a low growl. "Where to now?"

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-18 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Ducking down, finding a drop of blood on Logan's lip with his tongue, Joe grinned and shrugged a little. "Wherever the hell you want to go."

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-18 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)
"I want to go back to your place," Logan said, chasing Joe's mouth with his own. "Take me home with you," he murmured, running a hand down Joe's chest.

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-18 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Joe let Logan catch his mouth, kissed him once and then pulled away, tugging him in the direction of his place. "Come on," he said, heading down to the other end of the alley.

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-18 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Logan made a disappointed sound when Joe pulled away, but followed quietly without protest. After all, he had said he wanted to go back to Joe's.

Kissing could wait.

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-18 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
"Feeding always seems to make you pretty fucking horny," Joe pointed out with a bit of a grin as they walked. Not that he had any complaints about it.

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-18 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"And it doesn't do anything for you? I guess I could go elsewhere for a good time if you're not up for it," Logan smirked, quirking a brow at Joe and then glancing around for someone of interest.

He wasn't stupid, he knew Joe wanted him, but if the other man was going to try and shrug it off... Well, then Logan would just have to make him fess up.

They hadn't gone far before Logan managed to catch someone's eye. The guy was older than him, maybe twenty five or so. Tall, lean... dark hair and dark eyes. Logan knew he was just right for a little fun and games with Joe, flashed his sire a devious and defiant look as he wandered over to the stranger.

A few minutes of flirting and the guy was moving closer, touching Logan lightly. Logan, for his part, didn't do or say too much... but every now and then he'd glance back at Joe, waiting to see how long it would take for the older man to loose his temper and step in.

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-19 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
Joe watched in amusement as Logan wandered over to some guy in the park, shaking his head. Logan had this amazing ability to hear what he wanted to hear, no matter what a person said and it would've been annoying if Joe hadn't had eternity to kill.

"You always pick up little boys in the park?" he asked as he wandered closer as well, hands in his pockets, his lips curved up into a smirk. "Not a good idea, you know, he could be a fucking psycho."

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-19 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm not a little boy," Logan smirked, leaning back against Joe even as he kept eye contact with the stranger.

"...Unless you want me to be."

The guy looked uneasy for a moment, and then laughed awkwardly as he shook his head in disbelief. "What are you, his pimp?" he asked Joe.

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-19 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
"Yes," Joe answered dryly, draping an arm over Logan's shoulder, his mouth curved up into a smirk. And that was all he said for a long moment as the guy looked between them curiously.

"Wait, what?" he asked and Joe rolled his eyes.

"You couldn't have picked up a smart one?" he asked Logan, pushing his hips up against him from behind.

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-19 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
Logan bit back a gasp as Joe rubbed up against him, and took a moment to get his hormones under control as he shrugged. "Don't care how smart they are... Just liked the look of him," Logan replied.

The guy looked taken aback for a moment, wetting his lips as he tried to think.

"How much?" he asked, not realizing that Joe had been joking.

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-19 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
"Jesus Christ," Joe said with a laugh, looking amused even as he continued to rub up against Logan from behind. Truthfully, though, he was interested. They might be able to get some cash and another meal if they both played this right.

"He's not cheap," he answered simply.

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-19 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Logan opened his mouth to say he wasn't for sale, but stopped himself at the last moment. He wasn't really sure what Joe was playing at, but he could play along.

"Two-hundred for a night," Logan said sweetly. "bargain if you ask me," he told the man.

The stranger looked even more unsure at that, but after a moment nodded a little. "And what do I get? That's a lot of money for a hooker, could get anyone else for more than half-that... What's so special about him?" he asked Joe.

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-19 04:59 pm (UTC)(link)
"You should see the shit he can do with his mouth," Joe answered, shaking his head as if he'd never seen or felt such a thing. "Fuck, man, sometimes it's like he doesn't even have to breathe."

If that wasn't enough to get the guy hooked, Joe figured he'd just kill him here and steal the two hundred bucks.

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-19 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's a talent," Logan said brightly, flashing the man a smirk and shrugging.

The guy looked at Logan briefly, then back at Joe with a nod. "Alright," he said simply.

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-20 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
"Well, that was easy," Joe said with a soft snort of laughter, his arm still hooked around Logan's shoulders, his palm pressed flat against his chest. "Let's go, then."

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-20 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
"Where are we going?" the man asked, starting to look uneasy again, but a little more confident than before.

"Does it matter?" Logan asked him, rolling his eyes and leaning against Joe lightly as they started back towards Joe's.

"Somewhere close," Joe answered simply, letting Logan lead the way, although he didn't pull away from him. This was exciting in a strange way, leading their prey right to his death without him even suspecting a damn thing. Having him pay them for it.

"You can create some fucking interesting situations," he murmured to Logan in a low voice, smiling faintly.

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-20 08:04 am (UTC)(link)
Logan just grinned, leading the way as they neared Joe's place.

He was silent until they reached the door, turning to Joe and waiting for him to open the door. He didn't wait Long though, and before the other vamp even had the key out Logan was pressed up against the stranger, playing the part of the weakling as the man tugged him closer, his eyes flickering to Joe a little nervously.

It was all an act though, Logan wasn't weak, and he definitely wasn't afraid of some mortal.

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-23 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
Joe smirked a little, getting the door open as he watched Logan in amusement. At first it had kind of annoyed him, the way Logan had just fucking bailed and gone after some asshole, but now he found it sort of funny. They were fucking this guy over and they were doing it together.

Pushing the door open, he led the way inside, flipping on a light as he went.

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-23 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
The newcomer was quick to follow Joe inside, Tugging Logan along with a firm grip on the younger vamp's wrist. Logan wanted to laugh, but he managed to hold back, wondering just how far Joe was gonna let this go before they turned on the guy.

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-23 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Locking the door behind them, Joe watched, looking hungry as his eyes swept over Logan first and then the stranger. "The bedroom is down the hall," he said simply, his mouth quirking into a grin when he briefly caught Logan's gaze.

[identity profile] echolls-cursed.livejournal.com 2007-12-23 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Logan gave Joe a long curious look at that, and then looked a little irritated as the stranger started to tug him towards the bedroom.

"Quit it," he warned, pulling away with more strength than the man had expected. "You have to pay... at least half up front," he decided, glancing at Joe again.

The stranger just frowned and pulled out his wallet. "Fine, half up front," he agreed, looking restless as he shoved the money at Joe and took hold of Logan again. "Come on," he said simply, tugging Logan towards the bedroom again.

[identity profile] jdick.livejournal.com 2007-12-24 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
Taking the money, Joe watched in amusement, then followed them down the hall toward the bedroom, moving carefully as he trailed them. He was curious to see just how far Logan might let this go before he let the stranger know exactly who the hell they were.

"You pay another hundred and I'll watch," Joe offered with a grin, watching as the stranger paused and tensed briefly.
