Logan didn't do bars, not often any way. Too many people, too much going on... too many girls sniffing for money rather than love. Usually he hated it, but tonight...

Tonight he just needed to get out, to have a few drinks and enjoy the city of LA for what it was. Mindless, soulless, and empty. Really, the more he dwelled on it the more Logan was sure those were exactly the sort of qualities he'd been looking for in home, and he grinned as he polished off his drink and left enough cash on the bar for tip and his tab.

Ignoring the many writhing and twisting bodies on the dance floor, Logan made his way to the exit, ready to head home for the night. Passing the pool table, he pushed open the door and stepped into the night. The streets were busy, but he didn't mind, he'd cut through the alleyway and take a shortcut home.

The lamp light flickered as he stepped into the darkened ally, blinking out just as he headed into the shadows. It was alright though, he wasn't scared, he wasn't some sweet sixteen princess with her virtue to worry about... Logan was tough. He was eighteen now, and he had no fear.

"Well, I'm good looking... Clean... And I fuck you when you want me to," Logan laughed. "Actually, that last one is reason enough to adore me, man."

Joe laughed, but he also noticeably didn't argue, nodding a little. "Hey, man, you're not gonna hear any complaints from me about that kind of shit."

"Good to know, man. Good to know," Logan grinned, pulling away and ducking into the crowd.

It was all a game to him now. Death, life. And he deliberately got himself lost in the mass of people, wondering if Joe could find him... even if he slipped outside.

"The fuck are you doing?" Joe called after him, shaking his head a little before he went to the bar and got a drink for himself, then leaned against a nearby chair and waited. He scanned the building, waiting to feel where he thought Logan might be.

A moment later he pushed off the bar and began to wind through the crowd, looking for him.

Logan made a point of brushing up against as many people as he could, leaving his sent as a little trail before heading outside into the dark of the night. He grinned to himself when he spotted Marc, flashing him a toothy grin before ducking into the ally beside the club and waiting for Joe to find him.

There were a few older vamps hanging around, one or two of them eying him with interest, but Logan ignored them. Much to their annoyance.

It took Joe awhile to realize that Logan had gone outside, but eventually he found his way to the door, following the scent Logan had left behind. Once he got to the door, he left his drink on a nearby table and then pushed the door open and wandered out into the night.

Logan leaned back against the wall, waiting in silence for Joe to come after him. He could almost smell him now, but maybe that was just his imagination.

For a moment Joe just stood where he was and then turned to his left, heading toward the alley that ran alongside the building they'd been in.

"You done running away?" he asked when he saw Logan with a bit of a grin.

"Maybe," Logan smirked, taking a step away from the wall and moving away from Joe. "Thought maybe we could... revisit the past a little."

"You wanna fuck in an alley?" Joe asked, glancing around and some of the others who were milling in the area. He wasn't looking forward to fucking around anywhere near them, if he was honest.

"Maybe..." Logan shrugged, grinning a little.

"Not this one," Joe decided, reaching out to tug Logan away from the wall. "Not unless you wanna end up getting your ass kicked."

"That could be fun, but only if you do it," Logan laughed.

"I won't be the one doing it if we stay here," Joe pointed out, nodding at some of the others hanging out in the alley. "We don't wanna be here right now."

"What, them? I could take them," Logan insisted, even as he let Joe tug him away from the wall.

"Yeah? Should I leave you there to try?" Joe asked, walking away from the alley and down the street. "Might be kind of interesting to watch."

"Fine," Logan scowled, annoyed that Joe didn't think he could handle himself.

Letting the older man leave, he shot the group of vamps in the ally a dirty look, just daring them to come over.

"Jesus fucking Christ, you're an idiot," Joe snapped, turning back and grabbing Logan's shoulder. "You're such a cranky little shit, you know that? It wasn't a fucking personal insult, I wouldn't wanna go up against them either. They're centuries old, man, they'd fucking slaughter us both."

"Like I'm scared," Logan growled, looking annoyed when Joe dragged him along.

Just to prove it, he took a swing at the older man, just daring him to fight back.

The other vampires looked interested at that and they stopped talking amongst themselves, wandering toward where Logan and Joe were.

Joe grabbed Logan's arm, his hand squeezing his fist hard. "Don't fucking start this, they'll kill us both just for the fucking joy of it," he growled.

Logan hissed a little in pain and glared. "Kiss me, here, in front of them, and maybe I'll behave," he replied.

Joe glared at Logan, his jaw set hard, but he grabbed Logan by his hair and yanked him forward, kissing him hard and roughly.

Logan returned the kiss with a grin, and then pulled back slowly. "Now we can go, he smirked, tugging Joe's arm and starting to run.

"You're a fucker," Joe snapped, but then he was running as well, not looking back, still furious. He was going to have a rough time going back there in the future and he knew it.

Logan didn't stop until they were back outside the hotel, laughing obnoxiously and flashing Joe a nasty grin. "Whatever, fuck those guys. I knew you'd kiss me. Fag."
