Vampire AU Prequel

Logan didn't do bars, not often any way. Too many people, too much going on... too many girls sniffing for money rather than love. Usually he hated it, but tonight...

Tonight he just needed to get out, to have a few drinks and enjoy the city of LA for what it was. Mindless, soulless, and empty. Really, the more he dwelled on it the more Logan was sure those were exactly the sort of qualities he'd been looking for in home, and he grinned as he polished off his drink and left enough cash on the bar for tip and his tab.

Ignoring the many writhing and twisting bodies on the dance floor, Logan made his way to the exit, ready to head home for the night. Passing the pool table, he pushed open the door and stepped into the night. The streets were busy, but he didn't mind, he'd cut through the alleyway and take a shortcut home.

The lamp light flickered as he stepped into the darkened ally, blinking out just as he headed into the shadows. It was alright though, he wasn't scared, he wasn't some sweet sixteen princess with her virtue to worry about... Logan was tough. He was eighteen now, and he had no fear.

"Yeah, so?" Joe asked, trying to challenge Logan. "I feel it. Everyone fucking feels it when they feed from someone, that's how it fucking goes."

"Then do something," Logan pushed. "You have me here, you have me... fucking needing you. You turned me for a reason, so just... Do Something you pansy!" he growled, shoving Joe hard enough to knock him back against the wall.

"You like thinking you have control, don't you?" Joe asked as he hit the wall, and then his hand shot out again, grabbing Logan by the throat. "Like to talk big and play big, eh?"

Joe's grip on his throat was a lot less frightening than it had been while he was alive. There was no gasping for air this time, or struggling to get words out.

It hurt, but more than anything Logan was just thankful for the contact. He'd been itching for it.

"Maybe," he snarled, baring his teeth and growling.

"Yeah, well, good fucking luck with that new," Joe replied with a smirk, baring his teeth in return. "That shit ain't gonna work when you're so new."

"I'm not afraid of you, you know that, right?" Logan said, tilting his chin up a little and smirking as he let his face go normal again. "Might be new, but I'm no coward."

"Yeah, you're real tough," Joe agreed with a smirk, his hand tightening on Logan's throat, pushing him away from the wall, maybe toward the bed. "Real fucking tough. You'd be scarier if I was human."

Logan was really just thankful for the contact, and he struggled to think of how to keep things going. How to keep Joe's hands on him.

"Fuck you," he growled, hissing a bit snd struggling to free his neck.

"Fuck you," Joe shot back with a smirk, still shoving him toward the bed. "That the best insult you got? A simple 'fuck you'?" But he wasn't looking like he was particularly interested in letting go of Logan any time soon.

Logan stumbled as the backs of his knees hit the bed, gasping when the only thing keeping him upright was Joe's vice-like hold on his throat.

"What can I say, maybe I'm enjoying this," Logan snarled, struggling a little. "Maybe I don't want to chase you off by saying anything too harsh."

And he was. The violence was sending little sparks of pleasure down his spine.

"Chase me off?" Joe echoed, leaning in just enough to smell the air between them, his teeth snapping lightly. "You think you can chase me off no matter what you do?"

Logan just grinned even more, pushing himself up against Joe as best he could.

"Can't, I?" he hissed. "If I can't, it's got to be because you want to be around me."

"Or because you're nowhere near as tough as you think," Joe replied, unwilling to admit anything at this point. He shoved harder, pushing Logan back against the bed again.

Falling back onto the mattress, Logan laughed. "You want to find out, old man? You want to test me?"

Lifting one knee up onto the bed and then the other, straddling Logan's thighs, Joe just stared at him. He didn't say anything, just watched, a faint smirk turning up the corners of his mouth.

Logan was still at first, waiting to see just what Joe was doing, but after a moment he reached out and grabbed the other man's arms. "What are you doing?" he asked, not making any move to push Joe away yet.

"Waiting," Joe answered, although that didn't explain what he was doing at all. He was waiting, though. Waiting to see how long it would take Logan before he tried to get control again.

Logan was still a moment longer, and then growled a little as he shoved Joe roughly again.

Smirking, Joe pushed back, leaning down hard, both his hands on Logan's shoulders. "Didn't have to wait long, eh?" he asked, still smirking.

Growling again, Logan snapped his teeth and started to push and grab again.

"What are ou talking about?" he asked.

"You want all the fucking control, don't you?" Joe asked, pushing back. "And if you can't have it, you just wanna feel wanted."

"Maybe," Logan said, refusing to back down just yet. Joe was strong though, stronger than he was still, and he was struggling to get the upper hand. That didn't stop him from trying though.

Logan wouldn't give up until the struggle was truly over.

"Could just bite you again, you know," Joe said, reaching up with one hand and fisting his fingers in Logan's hair. Biting him again wouldn't do much, but it might be fun.

Logan made a small sound at that, looking up at Joe defiantly. As if daring him to do something.

With a grin, Joe tugged on Logan's hair, forcing his head back and baring his throat. Ducking his head down, he let his teeth scrape Logan's skin.
