In the end Logan had never made it back to the hut. At least not to stay. He had stepped inside just long enough to grab his board and wetsuit, and had headed off to the beach.

Maybe leaving your husband's birthday to go surfing wasn't the best thing to do- but there was only so much Logan could stand to watch. BetweenJack flirting with others and others flirting with Jack, Logan felt ill. Maybe it was how Jack was, and maybe it was something he'd eventually get over, but today wasn't that day. he didn't like watching Jack flirt with others, and if that made him a shitty husband... He spent an hour in the waves, and then eventually made his way to the compound to shower and dress. Time had passed, and he felt guilty now for leaving Jack at the party- But a little voice in his head assured him that Jack had likely had more fun without him anyway. Still, he needed to go home. He couldn't hide forever.

Logan laughed a bit and rolled away, grinning as he wet his lips. After all that stress and pain, he was feeling playful, and he nudged Jack's ankle gently with his foot.

"Yeah, that's a little more twisted than I'm okay with," he laughed, kissing Logan squarely on the nose. "I'm not that much older than you. Not even ten years. It's not so bad, right?"

"I don't care," Logan replied honestly. "Besides, you aren't the oldest guy I've ever been with."

He settled in closer and held on a little more. "I just like teasing you. I always used to think you got a cheep thrill from the fact that I was younger. It never bothered me though."

Logan said nothing, he simply leaned in and kissed Jack firmly on the lips.

Taking Jack's words as a challenge, Logan started to struggle. These days when they went at it, they were fairly well matched. Jack worked out more, but Logan was no Longer the lean kid he'd once been. He had filled out, and he had picked up tricks from Jack with every brawl they had.

These days the winner wasn't the strongest, he was simply the one who had fought dirtiest.

Jack fought back to keep Logan in place...but he was torn. He wanted to see Logan, but there was something so tempting about the idea of begging for it. When Logan twisted, he was distracted and flipped off to the side and nearly fell off the bed.
