Logan didn't do bars, not often any way. Too many people, too much going on... too many girls sniffing for money rather than love. Usually he hated it, but tonight...

Tonight he just needed to get out, to have a few drinks and enjoy the city of LA for what it was. Mindless, soulless, and empty. Really, the more he dwelled on it the more Logan was sure those were exactly the sort of qualities he'd been looking for in home, and he grinned as he polished off his drink and left enough cash on the bar for tip and his tab.

Ignoring the many writhing and twisting bodies on the dance floor, Logan made his way to the exit, ready to head home for the night. Passing the pool table, he pushed open the door and stepped into the night. The streets were busy, but he didn't mind, he'd cut through the alleyway and take a shortcut home.

The lamp light flickered as he stepped into the darkened ally, blinking out just as he headed into the shadows. It was alright though, he wasn't scared, he wasn't some sweet sixteen princess with her virtue to worry about... Logan was tough. He was eighteen now, and he had no fear.

Logan seemed to go a little limp when Joe spoke softly to him, relaxing and curling up a little closer.

Joe's arm slid around Logan, almost like he was testing the limits curiously, his mouth still brushing against his ear. "And since I'm your guest, you should share the blankets with me."

Logan nodded slowly, his whole personality shifting under Joe's soft words and touches. He wiggled a little closer, hands touching Joe's chest and sides before he pressed up close, nuzzling the other man softly as he tried to find a little warmth between their cool dead bodies.

It was strange how Logan changed, but Joe didn't question it. It gave him a bit of insight anyway and his fingers continued to stroke over his shoulders and his back, touching his skin gently. Joe was capable of being nice, he'd always been capable of it and while being turned had changed a lot, it hadn't changed the basics of Joe's personality.

Logan lapped up the attention and the kinder, softer touches, wrapping an arm around Joe as he hid his face against the older man's neck.

"I don't want to be dead," he said quietly, body shaking just a little. "I want to be alive again."

"You can't be. Not in the same way," Joe answered honestly. He didn't feel guilty about having turned the kid, not at all, but he did feel like it was his responsibility to make him understand how he could still live.

"I hate you," Logan said, though even as the words came out he was pressing up closer against the other man, closing what little distance had been left between them.

"I'm a fucker," Joe agreed, still stroking Logan's back. It wasn't the same as it had been before he'd been turned, but it wasn't bad either. Far from it.

"You like me, Joe?" Logan asked, nipping at the other man's earlobe.

"I liked you enough to turn you," Joe pointed out in return. He didn't just turn anyone that he found, he had to at least have a spark of real interest.

Logan hummed a bit at that, and went quiet. He wasn't sure he believed Joe, but hearing it was nice.

"I don't turn just anyone," Joe continued as he held Logan's body close to his own. "I'm real fucking picky."

"How many?" Logan asked. "How many have you turned?"

Joe didn't have to count, he just said, "Four, including you." And they'd all been impulses, people he'd wanted badly enough in a brief moment. All of them except Billy.

"Where are they now?" Logan asked, not sure what it was about the conversation that was making him horny again. Maybe the fact that he'd been picked. That he'd been wanted. That was enough to make him groan softly as he rubbed against Joe wantonly.

"Two of them are dead as far as I know," Joe answered and he didn't push Logan away when he felt him rubbing up against his body. "The other is still back in Vancouver." He would've heard if Billy had died.

Logan nodded a little and moaned as he rubbed up against Joe again. "Two dead huh? That's not a good survival rate."

"You better be careful then," Joe shot back with a grin, rubbing against Logan as well. "It wasn't me who killed 'em, though."

"I'll be careful," Logan grinned. "Locked doors... buckets of holy water... You can come check on me sometimes, give me a spanking if my security isn't up to par," he grinned.

Joe snorted with laughter, hooking a leg around Logan's, pulling their bodies closer once more. "I'll give you the worst fucking spanking of your life."

"Pretty unlikely," Logan assured the other man, but he didn't say anything more than that.

"You know," he said after a moment, grinning. "I don't think I locked the door when we came in. We were sleeping... out cold. Anyone could have walked in. Maybe you should go check it. Looks like my security might just be... lacking."

"Maybe I'll just punish you now and check the lock later," Joe replied with a smirk, pushing against Logan carefully, his hips grinding forward. He was pretty sure the doors locked automatically in a place like this.

"Only if you think it'll teach me to be more responsible," Logan smirked in return, running his hand down Joe's side.

"I doubt anything will teach you to be more responsible," Joe answered, laughing quietly as he arched into Logan's touch, his body moving against him.

"Mmm," Logan moaned softly, nipping at Joe's shoulder. "Maybe I want you to teach me anyway. Not here though, maybe the dinning room..."
