Camping (locked to Joe, backdated to Sept 29th)

Seeing as how he and Neil had been fighting about damn near everything all week, Logan had been more than a little eager to go camping with Joe by the time Saturday morning rolled around. So eager, in fact, that he'd already been to the compound to find a sleeping bag in the clothes box (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed no less), and had packed his make-shift bag before Joe had even come to find him.

For once Logan was ahead of the game, knocking on Joe's door to see if he was ready.

God, he'd never thought he'd be so eager to stare at trees for nearly forty-something hours.

"Hey, you ready?" he asked, knocking once and then pushing the door open a crack. "I grabbed some food for us to take or whatever... so, uh, I'm ready to go when you are man."

Joe snorted and then left Logan's sandwich on the wrapping from the chicken as he grabbed the third piece of bread. "One more slice, bread man."

"You," Logan said slowly. "Have to say please. And that's... Sir Bread Man to you, man."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Sir Bread Man," Joe said dryly. "Can I please have another fucking slice of bread."

"That's not nice, swearing," Logan tutted, holding out more bread. "That's not buddies," he decided, quoting one of Joe's favorite phrase.

"Thanks for the fucking bread," Joe replied with a snort of laughter, then put together a sandwich for himself as well. "Here. You can eat. I've Seventh fucking Heavened you."

"It's not Seventh Heaven unless there's a moral," Logan argued, taking his sandwich. "I have to learn a moral or something."

"The moral or the story is eat your fucking sandwich," Joe decided. "That good enough for you?"

"That's a lame moral," Logan replied, taking a bite anyway.

He was fucking staring.

"Yeah, well, that's all you're gonna get from me, man. I'm fresh outta morals," Joe said, taking a bite of his own sandwich.

Logan finished his food off pretty quickly, eyes still glassy as he moved closer to Joe again in search of contact.

He got very touchy when he was stoned. Not really sexual so much as grabby. Like he needed to touch things. In fact, he was practically pawing at Joe for attention, slumping against him and then pushing him a bit. He was like a puppy that had been neglected for a few days, waiting for someone to play fetch with him, or at least give him a damn bone.

"You wanna do anything today or you figure we're just gonna lie around and get stoned?" Joe asked, finishing his own sandwich off and dropping his hand to Logan's head. He wasn't pushing him away, just held his hand there.

"What would we do?" Logan asked, looking up and leaning itno the touch. "Roast marshmallows and tell ghost stories?"

Joe snorted and asked, "You bring the marshmallows." He was pretty sure that they didn't even exist on the island, but he could've been wrong.

"I brought... bananas," Logan said, poking at Joe a little and ducking out from under his hand.

His body folding a little when Logan poked him, Joe grunted and raised an eyebrow. "You wanna roast bananas? Might not taste too great."

"We'd peel them first. Put them on sticks," Logan said, as if that made it sound more appetizing.

"That's fucking gross," Joe decided, swatting at Logan's head lightly. "Fucking gross, man. You can peel 'em and put 'em on sticks."

"Well, you said we should do something, or something," Logan replied, his eyes a little less glazed over as he squinted and then sighed. "You think of something then, or... I'll just smoke until I forget my own name."

"How much pot do you have left?" Joe asked curiously. And he wasn't going to smoke any, he really wasn't. He just wanted to know.

"A few joints," Logan shrugged. A few, in this case, being four.

"Gonna smoke 'em all yourself, right?" Joe asked, just to make sure. He didn't think Logan would offer, but he wantd to make sure.

"Yeah... no, Joe, I'm not..."

Logan was still a little to out of it to say what he wanted to say. Like how he was glad Joe was clean now, and how he wasn't trying to tempt him into doing the wrong thing. He gestured a little, looking a little ashamed as he shrank back and glanced away.

"Logan, fuck, I wasn't asking to make you feel bad," Joe said, reaching out and shoving his shoulder lightly. "I'm just... I need to make sure for me, man. I need to say it and get it out, otherwise I'm gonna fuck up."

"I wouldn't let you fuck up," Logan sighed, letting himself fall a bit when Joe pushed.
