Camping (locked to Joe, backdated to Sept 29th)

Seeing as how he and Neil had been fighting about damn near everything all week, Logan had been more than a little eager to go camping with Joe by the time Saturday morning rolled around. So eager, in fact, that he'd already been to the compound to find a sleeping bag in the clothes box (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed no less), and had packed his make-shift bag before Joe had even come to find him.

For once Logan was ahead of the game, knocking on Joe's door to see if he was ready.

God, he'd never thought he'd be so eager to stare at trees for nearly forty-something hours.

"Hey, you ready?" he asked, knocking once and then pushing the door open a crack. "I grabbed some food for us to take or whatever... so, uh, I'm ready to go when you are man."

"It's this show... about a family of religious people, who hug and take in stray children. They're always having family dinners and shit. I think the dad's like, a preacher or something and he had a hot daughter..." Logan said, trying to explain.

"And I want, I dunno, edible food."

"Real fucking helpful, man," Joe said with a snort, but he extracted some of the food he'd brought, some chicken-like thing and bread and some vegetables.

"That's me, helpful," Logan said, flopping onto his back again and enjoying the rest of his buzz.

Joe tossed the loaf of bread onto Logan's chest and said, "Hey, man, I'm not doing all the fucking work. Get some bread out."

"I'm fucking tired, Joe," Logan complained, rolling back onto his side and holding the bread like it was some sort of teddy bear.

"Are you cuddling the fucking bread?" Joe asked, looking over at Logan as he fought a grin. "Jesus, it doesn't take much effort to grab me a couple slices."

Logan mumbled something unintelligible, but didn't actually make any effort to grab Joe some bread... or to stop holding it like it was his best friend.

"You're not much of a fucking help," Joe said with a laugh, holding out his hand. "Gimme the goddamn bread back if you can't help me then."

"I'm helping," Logan sighed, pulling open the bag and offering Joe a single slice of bread.

Joe took the bread and then held his hand out again for another piece. "C'mon, gimme another. Two pieces of bread make a sandwich."

"I know, I'm doing it," Logan yawned, offering another. "It's... not simple right now. Don't nag me."

"Just gimme the fucking bread back," Joe laughed as he put together a sandwich for Logan, then offered it to him in exchange for the rest of the bread.

"No, I'm doing it," Logan said stubbornly, holding out another slice. "I'm the bread man."

Joe snorted and then left Logan's sandwich on the wrapping from the chicken as he grabbed the third piece of bread. "One more slice, bread man."

"You," Logan said slowly. "Have to say please. And that's... Sir Bread Man to you, man."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Sir Bread Man," Joe said dryly. "Can I please have another fucking slice of bread."

"That's not nice, swearing," Logan tutted, holding out more bread. "That's not buddies," he decided, quoting one of Joe's favorite phrase.

"Thanks for the fucking bread," Joe replied with a snort of laughter, then put together a sandwich for himself as well. "Here. You can eat. I've Seventh fucking Heavened you."

"It's not Seventh Heaven unless there's a moral," Logan argued, taking his sandwich. "I have to learn a moral or something."

"The moral or the story is eat your fucking sandwich," Joe decided. "That good enough for you?"

"That's a lame moral," Logan replied, taking a bite anyway.

He was fucking staring.

"Yeah, well, that's all you're gonna get from me, man. I'm fresh outta morals," Joe said, taking a bite of his own sandwich.

Logan finished his food off pretty quickly, eyes still glassy as he moved closer to Joe again in search of contact.

He got very touchy when he was stoned. Not really sexual so much as grabby. Like he needed to touch things. In fact, he was practically pawing at Joe for attention, slumping against him and then pushing him a bit. He was like a puppy that had been neglected for a few days, waiting for someone to play fetch with him, or at least give him a damn bone.

"You wanna do anything today or you figure we're just gonna lie around and get stoned?" Joe asked, finishing his own sandwich off and dropping his hand to Logan's head. He wasn't pushing him away, just held his hand there.

"What would we do?" Logan asked, looking up and leaning itno the touch. "Roast marshmallows and tell ghost stories?"
