The stab of guilt that spiked through him was enough to make Logan look away. He didn't like the idea that he'd fucked things up for Cutter and Joe. That he'd ruined their friendship with his stupid crush. Still, instead of offering an apology, Logan was instantly on the defense.

"I dunno why he'd think that, I don't need protecting or you looking out for my damn virtue."

He knew he was being unfair though, and after a moment he sighed. "It shouldn't even be an issue now, me and Cutter are fine. He's like the older brother I never wanted. ...Well, an older brother that I've been known to have sex dreams about anyway."

Taking another hit, he rolled onto his side and looked over at Joe. "You ever do that? Dream about people who weren't Dale or whatever? It's weird, man... and it's never the sort of people you want to think about getting naked and sweaty with. Hell, I once had one about Jack, and I hate that guy."
